launching of organisation’s Annual Corporate Plan 2024/2025

The Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew launched the organisation’s Annual Corporate Plan 2024/2025 with a challenge to members of the Command to deliver amidst varying challenges.

Due to operational demands over the past few months, Directors and Divisional Police Commanders were able to meet today and formalize their respective roles and responsibilities through the signing of their contractual agreements.

The Acting Commissioner thanked the officers for progressing the work into achieving the various activities stipulated in the ACP.

“Officers Sustaining Organisational Effectiveness is our corporate theme. The word that jumps out at me, is sustaining. In our line of work and the challenges we face, one of the key issues for us, and one we are scrutinized on, is our ability to sustain operations for safer communities for all.”

“In an ideal world, we would love to have everything at our disposal such as finance and resources, however, we are far from having this wish list, and as leaders, are expected to work with what we have and still deliver. This is where the element of leadership is important. Leadership that is intent on leading without a motive or bias, but with integrity, honesty and fairness.”

“Amidst the planned, there are the unplanned, and at times it can feel overwhelming, but I remind you that officers under our command are watching us, and we must continue to steer our organisation through rough times, as we are the generation of leaders entrusted to lead at this moment.”

The launch was held at the Nadi Police Station.
